Mental illness and creative outlets.

I don’t know if I have ever mentioned this, but photography is my passion and my release. I don’t think of myself as a “photographer,” but I am constantly educating myself on the subject and my camera is always at my side or in my bag. Photographing is both an escape into a different place and a way of telling brutal truths. I can’t even put any of it into words.

I came across a couple resources and groups today that I thought were worth a share. You can also check Meetup.com for similar groups in your area.
